1 John 4:4 — Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world…Isaiah 46:9 — I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’

Proverbs 19:21 — Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.

Psalm 2:1-6 —

1  Why do the nations rage
    and the peoples plot in vain?
2  The kings of the earth set themselves,
    and the rulers take counsel together,
    against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us burst their bonds apart
    and cast away their cords from us.”

4  He who sits in the heavens laughs;
    the Lord holds them in derision.
5  Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
    and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6 “As for me, I have set my King
    on Zion, my holy hill.”

Psalm 115:3 — Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.

Matthew 16:18 — And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
